Mark Mills, co-founder and partner in Cottonwood Venture Partners, a boutique energy-tech venture fund, is also a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, and a faculty fellow at Northwestern University's engineering school. He writes the Energy Intelligence column for Forbes with a focus on the intersection of technology, policy, and economics. He earlier co-founded and served as chairman and CTO of ICx Technologies, helping take it public in a 2007 IPO. He is co-author with Peter Huber of the book, The Bottomless Well, which rose to #1 in Amazon science. He has been published in various popular publications including The Wall Street Journal. Mr. Mills was earlier a technology advisor for Bank of America Securities, a co-author of a successful energy-tech investment newsletter, served in the White House Science Office under President Reagan, and worked in his early career as a semiconductor development engineer and scientist.
